USA Immigration Programs
The United States offers several immigration pathways for individuals seeking residency through investment, business, or employment. Three popular programs include the EB-5 Green Card Program, the E2 Investor Visa, and the L1 Visa.
US EB-5 Green Card Program
The EB-5 program provides foreign investors and their families a pathway to U.S. residency by investing in a U.S. business that creates at least 10 American jobs. Once approved, applicants receive a Green Card, allowing them to live, work, and study in the U.S.
US E2 Investor Visa Program
The E2 Visa is for investors from countries with a treaty of commerce with the U.S. It allows individuals to live and manage a U.S.-based business they’ve invested in. Although non-immigrant, it can be renewed indefinitely as long as the business remains operational.
US L1 Visa Program
The L1 Visa is for employees of international companies being transferred to the U.S. office. It includes the L1A (for executives and managers) and L1B (for specialized knowledge workers). This visa offers a pathway to permanent residency through further steps.
Other programs include the O-1 Visa for individuals with extraordinary abilities, the H-1B Visa for skilled workers, and the EB-3 Visa for skilled workers and professionals. Each program offers unique benefits depending on the applicant’s situation and goals and provides various ways to immigrate to the U.S. for work or business opportunities.
