Manitoba PNP Immigration Streams

Manitoba Employer Direct Stream & International Student Stream

This stream is for skilled workers and international graduates who intend to settle permanently in Manitoba.

Eligibility Requirements:

At least 6 months of work experience in Manitoba on a Temporary Work Permit.
A permanent, full-time job offer from an employer who could not fill the position with a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident.
Competitive wages and fulfillment of all job requirements, including education, training, licenses, or certifications.
A stronger employment connection to Manitoba than to any other province.

Alternative Pathway:

Completion of at least one academic year in a recognized post-secondary program in Manitoba and possession of a post-graduation work permit.
Current full-time, permanent employment in Manitoba with a job offer from the employer.

Skilled Workers with a Connection to Manitoba

This stream is designed for individuals with previous work or study experience in Manitoba.

Eligibility Requirements:

Previous employment in Manitoba for at least six consecutive months, with a signed employer letter and valid work permit.
Previous education in Manitoba as an international student in an authorized program (excluding language studies), with proof such as study permit, academic transcripts, and completion certificate or degree.

Express Entry Stream for Manitoba Immigration (Faster PR Processing)

This stream selects skilled candidates from the Express Entry pool under Manitoba’s Skilled Worker Overseas stream.

Eligibility Requirements:

Must qualify under at least one federal economic immigration program:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Must submit a full Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) and demonstrate sufficient settlement funds.
Completion of an Express Entry profile, including submission of Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation codes to MPNP.
Important Note: Being nominated under this program does not guarantee PR approval. Candidates must still meet MPNP and federal immigration criteria.
