EU Blue Card
Definition: The EU Blue Card is a residence and work permit for highly qualified professionals from outside the EU. It grants the right to live and work in an EU country, provided the applicant has higher professional qualifications (such as a university degree) and a valid employment contract or job offer for at least one year with a competitive salary.
Conditions:
- Must possess a recognized higher education qualification or at least five years of relevant professional experience (depending on the country).
- Employment must be in a paid position; self-employed work is not eligible.
- Salary must be at least 1.5 times the average national salary (subject to country-specific thresholds).
- Must hold a valid work contract for at least one year.
- Health insurance and travel documents are required.
- If the profession is regulated, legal eligibility to practice must be demonstrated.
UAE Blue Visa
Definition: The UAE Blue Visa is a 10-year residency visa granted to individuals recognized for their contributions to environmental sustainability. It is available to both UAE nationals and residents who have demonstrated significant efforts in environmental advocacy.

Validity
- EU Blue Card: Initially valid for three years, with the possibility of renewal. If your work contract is extended, you may renew accordingly. After expiry, you are granted a three-month grace period to renew or seek new employment.
- UAE Blue Visa: Valid for 10 years and renewable.

- EU Blue Card: Processing time up to 90 days.
- UAE Blue Visa: Processing fee of AED 350 only.
